As we reach the final stages of today's round, it's been an eventful couple of holes for our featured group. Phil Staunton had a mixed bag, starting with a birdie on the 8th but unfortunately dropping a shot with a bogey on the 9th, leaving him even par overall. Niall Higgins struggled on the 8th with a bogey but managed to hold his ground with a par on the 9th, maintaining his score at +8. Ciaran Considine played steadily, making par on the 8th and then rolling in a birdie on the 9th, also sitting at +8. Meanwhile, Steve Horgan enjoyed a nice birdie on the 8th and made par on the 9th, bringing him to +1. The tension is palpable as they head towards the back nine!
